 Hello everyone. Let me tell you about my wiki name. My son was laughing at me one day when I was talking about how much I had to do and reminded me that I was the one who volunteered to do stuff all the time. Mom, "You are like an idea afflicted squirrel on speed." I decided that I would take on the Idea Squirrel name just to remind me to say no every once in a while. Other than doing too much all the time, my hobbies include reading, gardening and surfing - um, the net, not the ocean, and watching the crazy antics of my cats. I look forward to meeting all of you this semester and learning as much from you as I can. |
 Hi. I'm Courtney R. from Beaumont, Texas (about an hour east of Houston). I teach middle school (7th grade) English and reading. This is my second semester in the Ed. Tech program, and I love it! Looking forward to meeting and working with everyone. |

Hi, my name is Griselda Garcia. I've lived in Brownsville, Texas all of my life. I am 26-years-old. I work in Gonzalez Elementary. I am a second grade teacher. I enjoy working with children and love using technology in my classroom. The children get very motivated when I integrate technology in some of my lessons.

 Hello, my name is Judith Navarro and I am currently teaching at Gonzalez Elementary in Brownsville. This was my first year teaching and, needless to say, it was quite an experience. I actually went to school at Gonzalez so, it was very interesting to be working with teachers who were teaching there when I was a student. I have made many new friends there and I am even the godmother to one of my students. As for my hobbies, when I get an opportunity to do so, I love to bake, walk my dogs, read, crochet, and scrapbook. My friends tell me that I have grandma hobbies but, I also enjoy shopping, or as I like to refer to it, "retail therapy." I am looking forward to this course and hope to implement what I learn in my classroom.

 Howdy yall. My name is Mary Montgomery, I am an Early Childhood major. I am currently looking for a full time position, but in the mean time to give me more experience I am a substitute teacher for Harlingen CISD. I live in Combes, Texas. I am looking forward to learning about the technology. My email name is squirrel, because a friend of mine in Girl Scouts, said I was screwy and nutty like them. The name stuck.

Hello,
I am Mike Pozuc. I teach Physics at Med High in Mercedes. I hope to improve my technology use in the classroom through this class. By the way, I am working towards a Masters of Science in Intedisciplinary Studies with a focus on Physics. I have 5 children and spend a significant amount of time volunteering in Mexico.
